2C utilizes a computer mouse that has two additional buttons on the left side. Extending the right thumb along the left side of the mouse and towards the front, reaches the 2C button. Where bending the thumb and moving it back along the same side reaches the Tab button. The 2C voice is used to verbalize the three integrated system menus. For navigation feedback of MS Windows, 2C utilizes the active screen reader’s voice synthesizer. 2C employs Windows Media Player to be the default music engine. In addition, the system uses the Internet Explorer browser (IE) and utilizes the default (unmodified) internet navigation commands of the active screen reader.
